Pondok Restaurant
A member of the Chaine des Rotisseurs Bali, our Pondok
Restaurant serves up an sumptious menu of gourmet
fare and local delights. You will also be able to
order from an impressive list of international wines.
Complimentary afternoon tea is served daily from 4
- 5pm.

Terrace
Read a book or take a snooze together on the comfortable
Bale, the River Terrace is a place to retreat to for
a relaxing afternoon. Or have a romantic candlelight
dinner there if you wish.
Library, Boutique & Internet
A selection of novels and books of Bali are available
at our library. A wide CD collection is also at hand
at no cost. Jewellery, Indonesian artifacts and various
arts and crafts are on display and for sale in our
boutique, the Warung Semana. Check your email and
tell your friends back home what a wonderful time
you are having.
Art Gallery
The villas at Villa Semana Hotel serve as an art gallery
for well-known Balinese artist Gede Sudarma . Guests
may enjoy his art while they stay at our hotel. All
art works are for sale.
Shuttle Bus Service
Villa Semana is conveniently located 10 minutes from
the arts and cultural town of Ubud. Free shuttle bus
service to and from Ubud town is available from our
hotel.
Mountain
Bikes
Two 21-speed Shimano equipped mountain bikes are on
stand by to explore the surrounding villages and countryside at additional small charge.
Thoughtful Spares
A selection of ladies shawls are available to keep
warm during the rather cool nights in the restaurant
and an assortment of reading glasses in various strengths
are on hand should you need them to read the menu
better in the evening restaurant light.
Other Services
Laundry and dry cleaning services are available. Doctor
on call 24 hrs.
Authentic Balinese Experience
All our staff at Villa Semana are Balinese and live
in the villages surrounding Ubud. In fact, many of
them come from Semana Village where we are located.
They all take part in village activities such as temple
ceremonies, traditional dance and when they go home,
continue to live their lives untainted by the changes
brought about by tourism to the rest of Bali. When
they come to work, they bring with them their traditional
values and practices which you will no doubt experience
when they greet and serve you. It is this that makes
Villa Semana so special. |
